Why the Environment Minister Hon Benny Allen pay a visit to Hidden Valley Mine Site & the riverine communities last week and at such a time when the case is before the court?\

2. Why the minister did not involve the Bulolo district Admin during his visit/ even the local Bulolo MP- Hon Sam Basil?
3. Why did the Minister called the a/District Administrator after delivering his press statements that the press mis-quoted him?

4. Was that that trip funded by the state or MMJV?
5. Why didn't he hold MMJV solely responsible for the sedimentation and related river ecosystem disruption? Reason - Is the State partly liable/accountable for the damage therefore, cannot squarely blame MMJV? In order to cover that, they (State) need to establish a committee to cover their themselves, not the people.
6. Why putting up Environment plan now.
7. The theory that acid generated from the rock can easily be neutralised is broadly a generalisation because the acid neutralisation capacity of the river system can be influenced by various factors and to what extent of the river system, is a question???
8. They did not even mention about the increased turbidity/discolouration of the river system.
9. The SMEC report was said to be made available in March 2010 to the Minister and his secretary, why is it taking them that long? Did it take them that long to interpret the report?? What are those environmental degree & masters holders being employed by the DEC on a very lucretive packages where are their brains to reason things out for the ordianary grassroots people?

10. The Minister is now again admitting that sedimentation is the issue. The root cause is MMJV's poor environmental management consideration to the surrounding ecosystem.

Therefore, hold MMJV accountable, why scoop so low to listen to the miner??

If MMJV is operating in QLD, it will be told to close its operation by EPA or the minister!! The state is not supposed to form a committee just because a miner has just polluted a riverine. The miner will be hold accountable until they clean-up their acts.

Is PNG using a different mining Acts/Regs or is similar to QLD/WA??????????????????????????Hon.
